Magma HDI General Insurance Company is a joint venture between Magma Fincorp Limited which is Kolkatta based and HDI-Gerling Industrie Versicherung AG Germany.

Magma Fincorp is a Non-Banking Finance Company (NBFC) setup in 1989 providing financing solutions to a large section of the society. Over 80% of their 275+ branches are in the semi-urban and rural areas.

HDI-Gerling Industrie Versicherung AG is a Germany based insurance company providing insurance solutions to corporates, industrial setups and mid-sized businesses. Through its network of branches, affiliates and partners it is present in over 130 countries across the globe.
