Sahara India Life Insurance

Sahara Life Insurance Company was setup in February 2004 as a wholly owned subsidiary of the Sahara Group. It is also one of the few companies which does not have a foreign partner in the life insurance venture.

The Sahara India Pariwar is a big enterprise with varied business interests – finance, real estate and entertainment to name a few. The Sahara group is a well known name in India and is even closely associated with sporting activities in India, with it being the sponsors of the Indian cricket team for some time now. It is a major player in the financial services sector for a long time. The operations of the life insurance company are currently focussed North and Central India.
